After downloading and installing the plug-in, you get access to all the features of “Design touch” for 30 days. You don’t have to pay anything, and/or create an account or enter your credit card information. Launch InDesign and start uploading layouts to open them on iPad. On your iPad, when exported the layout, set the checkbox to export new images and on desktop, use “Design Touch” plug-in and download the layout within “Download menu item”. The plug-in will fetch the images and automatically show the images correctly placed on your modified layout.

Master page items, table content, content of anchored page items can not be edited. Stay tuned, we will support these attributes in next version!

Yes. On iPad, we don’t support/show all attributes from InDesign, but attributes will be kept and saved during export. E.g. my frame in InDesign contains corner effect, but on my iPad, I don’t see corner. You may change attributes of your frames (fill color, stroke…) and when exporting or previewing changes, the original corner will be kept.

The page items that were changed are marked by yellow alert icon and editing them will show you latest version. To preview changes for the page, just click on preview button. To update the layout with latest contents, goto the main view and tap the refresh icon, your layout will get reopened including latest changes.
